Man attacked brothers with a knife on Wienerberg

On Friday evening, a man attacked two brothers (41, 51) with a knife on the Wienerberg. He missed the older one, the younger one was taken to hospital with cuts to his upper arm and back. An immediate manhunt was unsuccessful.

It was initially unclear why the fight broke out. The men had already argued before the attack on Friday evening (around 7.15 pm). The unidentified man initially had a dog with him, which he returned before the knife attack. When he came back, he suddenly tried to attack the 51-year-old, but missed him. He then attacked the 41-year-old, injured him on the upper arm and back and fled the scene.

Victim taken to hospital
The Vienna emergency services treated the man and took him to hospital with cuts. The police, who had been alerted in the meantime, immediately searched for the perpetrator but were unsuccessful. Any police station will accept information, even anonymously.
