Father became aggressive

Attack with belt and cobblestones in Vienna

Because a young man allegedly pushed his child aside on the street in Vienna-Floridsdorf, a father of a family became aggressive on Monday and triggered a brawl in the middle of the street. He and two people aged 17 and 19 are said to have injured each other with a belt, among other things. 

The rough altercation took place on Am Spitz in Floridsdorf at around 4.15 pm. The 26-year-old father was reportedly walking there with his child when one of the two younger men pushed the child aside to walk past the group of people.

The father then allegedly insulted and hit the two young men. The three men then allegedly attacked each other with a belt. The father is also said to have been pelted with a cobblestone and threatened with being killed. All three ruffians were injured in the incident. 

The men had to be treated by the emergency services and taken to hospital. Each of them faces criminal charges.
