“Unpleasant”: Nagelsmann pushes TV star aside

Germany has reached the European Championship quarter-finals - after the 2:0 victory over Denmark, Julian Nagelsmann wanted to celebrate the triumph with his loved ones. A video of an "awkward" scene between the national coach and TV star Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, who cheated his way to the front of the crowd, is currently going viral online.

When Nagelsmann arrived in the stands, Heufer-Umlauf, who happily greeted the German coach, clapped along with him. He then pushed the TV star, who apparently wanted to exchange a few words, to one side - as seen here in the video:

And there was a reason for this: Andre, Nagelsmann's brother, was already waiting behind Heufer-Umlauf. Julian and Andre celebrated reaching the quarter-finals with a hug. And Klaas took a back seat, first taking a sip of his drink.

The video of the scene went viral afterwards. "I don't know if I've ever seen a more unpleasant situation than the one where Klaas Heufer-Umlauf thought Julian Nagelsmann was coming to the stands because of him," wrote one user. Tennis legend Boris Becker also reacted: "Lol."
