That speaks for the medical expertise of the organizers! A team of Arab extreme mountaineers visited Medalp Imst in the Tyrolean Oberland last week to take part in a workshop on accident rescue in the high mountains.

During the event, the alpine medical experts from Medalp - Shahin Dehbalaie and Hanspeter Rokita - as well as the team from the Martin 2 rescue helicopter from Heli Tirol with Ulrike Butz provided insights into rescue medicine in mountain accidents.

"The climbers from the Emirates, including Everest conquerors, were very impressed and we will intensify our cooperation," summarized Medalp CEO Alois Schranz and board members Brigitte Trenker and Claudius Kaloczy.
