Burglars stole cash, printers and cell phones

Unknown burglars were up to mischief on Saturday night in Zirl in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land: The perpetrators broke into an electronics store, tore down the surveillance camera and stole cash, a printer and cell phones. The police are hoping for witnesses.

The unknown perpetrators forced their way into the electronics store in Zirler Bahnhofstraße by smashing a window.

"The surveillance camera was then torn down", according to the police. The burglars ultimately stole cash in the four-digit euro range from a cash box, a printer in mint condition and several used and new smartphones.

Hoping for information from witnesses
The total amount of damage caused cannot yet be estimated. The perpetrators presumably fled in a car. The investigators are hoping for possible witnesses who made suspicious observations in Bahnhofstraße during the night - particularly at around 2 am.
