On Wednesday, officers from the Kitzbühel district police command carried out technical checks together with experts from the Asfinag test train at the Going heavy goods vehicle checkpoint.

On the road despite a driving ban
A German articulated truck was stopped, which was traveling on the B178 despite a driving ban. In the course of the inspection, a total of 17 serious technical defects were found on the towing vehicle and the trailer.

Tires and air suspension linings objected to
Among other things, a total of seven tires and four air suspension bellows were found to be severely damaged, with one of the truck's damaged tires completely deflated. Excessive oil loss was also noticeable on the engine.

Due to the massive defects, there was imminent danger. The truck was prohibited from continuing its journey.
