Fire victim (78) died hours later in hospital

Unfortunately, hope was short-lived: the victim (78) succumbed to her serious injuries on the day of the fire in her home in Sautens. Meanwhile, the cause of the fire remains unclear.

As reported, the fire broke out in the detached house at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The fire is believed to have broken out in the hallway. However, the exact cause is still under investigation by the police.

Admission to special clinic
The resident (78) was rescued with serious injuries and was flown to a clinic specializing in burns in Murnau (Bavaria). From there came the news on Thursday that the woman had already died on the day of the fire.
