For a long time it looked as if there would be no public viewing in Salzburg for this year's European Football Championship. At the last minute, however, one was set up at SAK-Platz in Nonntal. The crowd was huge.

The hoped-for sensation of Austria's opening game in the European Championship against France failed to materialize. Nevertheless, the atmosphere in Nonntal was excellent. Around 1000 fans watched the game at the foot of the fortress on Monday evening.

The upcoming matches of the Austrian national team will also be broadcast on the big screen at SAK-Platz, as will the semi-finals and the final.
