Fire department frees cow from pasture grate in Neuberg

The Krampen and Neuberg an der Mürz fire departments had to go to the Falkensteinalm to free a cow that got stuck in a pasture grate. 

On Saturday morning, the Krampen fire department received an alarm at the Falkensteinalm: a cow was stuck in a pasture grate. "When they arrived at the scene, the firefighters saw the exhausted cow lying on the ground with one front leg stuck between the cracks in the pasture grate," explains the fire department.

While the farmer's wife tried to calm the animal, the firefighters pushed the bars apart to free her leg.
