Murat Yakin (Switzerland coach): "I compare soccer to chess, and today we chose the right tactics. We chose this formation for a reason. We concentrated on making the most of our strengths and we made life very difficult for our opponents in the first half."

Granit Xhaka (Switzerland captain): "It was brutally important for us to start with a win. The first half was very strong, the second wasn't any worse, but we had to do more. Overall, the win is well deserved."
