TV comeback: Raab and Elton are reunited

On September 14, Stefan Raab returns to television to box Regina Halmich for the third time. But of course one person must not be missing from the TV comeback of the year: Elton! Raab's good friend will present the sporting spectacle.

Almost a decade after his last TV appearance, Stefan Raab will return to television in September. He will step into the ring for a third time against former world boxing champion Regina Halmich. It is now also clear that presenter Elton will also be taking part in the event!

Elton and Raab have a deep friendship
The decision to have Elton as presenter is no big surprise. After all, before Stefan Raab retired from television in 2015, the two were considered a TV dream team for years.

In 2001, Elton celebrated his breakthrough alongside Raab on "TV total". He then became his show intern - whenever Raab did a show, Elton was almost always there. Elton also appeared in the announcement videos for Stefan Raab's comeback.

Recently, however, things have not really been going well for the presenter in the TV business. In April, ProSieben surprisingly announced that "Schlag den Star" would now be produced without show host Elton.

Halmich is prepared for anything
Raab has already competed against Regina Halmich twice and lost just as often. The ex-professional boxer even broke his nose once. This time he wants to finally win against her. 

Halmich is prepared for anything. "If Stefan is that crazy and really wants it, I'll do it," the world champion told MDR. "I think he's speculating that I've totally lost it and that he has the better cards now because I'm no longer a professional boxer."
