FC Bayern are on the verge of signing Hiroki Ito from VfB Stuttgart. The Japanese player reportedly has a release clause of 30 million euros, which the record champions would like to trigger. Ito would be another option for the recently fragile defense. 

Ito has not been on many people's radar for a transfer to Bayern. But now, according to Sky, the transfer is already a done deal. According to the report, the record champions would draw the exit clause of 30 million euros, which would tie VfB's hands.

The Japanese player plays both in central defense and at left-back. With his versatility, the left-footer could be an important addition to Munich's defense, which has not always been solid recently. His contract in Stuttgart is still valid until 2027.

Tah should also move on
Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested in the 25-year-old. However, the Londoners have not yet made any concrete contact and, unlike Bayern, will not be playing in the Champions League next season. However, this should be a major incentive for Ito.

Irrespective of an Ito transfer, Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen should also be lured to the Isar. The cards also seem to be in Bayern's favor for the Leverkusen defender. The squad shake-up in Munich therefore appears to be continuing.
