German e-biker chased by man during the night

Shock for a German woman (30) in Seefeld in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land on Tuesday night! The woman was riding her e-bike and was suddenly chased by the driver of an e-scooter. There is still no trace of the stranger.

According to the police, the incident happened at around 2.15 am. The 30-year-old was riding her e-bike from Seefeld station on the L14 to the B177. "Shortly after the station, she noticed the driver of an e-scooter shouting something after her," the police say. The man then followed the German woman.

The woman then called for help, whereupon the unknown man claimed to be a Slovakian police officer.

The 30-year-old then called her boyfriend. When she had to stop at the junction with the main road, the pursuer held her and prevented her from driving on. "The woman then called for help, whereupon the stranger pretended to be a Slovakian police officer." The German woman also stated that she had run onto the main road and stopped a vehicle.

Driver of e-scooter fled
The driver of the e-scooter then remained stationary for some time before finally fleeing northwards. A police manhunt was unsuccessful. The unknown man is said to have been between 25 and 30 years old, 170-175 centimetres tall and was wearing dark clothing and a hood. The police are now asking for information.
