Nobody could stand up to the promoted team

Mittersill marched through the league unbeaten. Nobody scored more often than Hallein's Ayetigbo. There was no getting past Bruck's Seiwald. 

The season in Salzburg's lower soccer division is (almost) over. Time to celebrate the "winners" of the season. For the "Krone", there was only one logical choice for "Team of the Year": Mittersill.

The team from Oberpinzgau was promoted to the 2nd Landesliga Süd, but moved on again after just one year. Without defeat (only four draws), they shook up the league. They confidently took the championship title. The Landesliga has something to look forward to next season.

Bruck-Goalie Manuel Seiwald

The 1st Class South club Bruck also remained undefeated. Goalkeeper Manuel Seiwald only had to make 14 saves, earning him the title of "invincible". "The whole team played a big part in this, we'll never forget this season," beams the Pinzgau goalkeeper.

The "shooting boot" impressively goes to Hallein's Oluwatosin Ayetigbo. The Nigerian was a real stroke of luck for the Salinenstädter. He netted 37 times in the 2nd Division North B and scored six times in the Salzburg League. "I'm a striker, that's my job," is nothing out of the ordinary for him.

His career is over for referee Thomas Hochstaffl. After 1500 games, he hung up his whistle.
