Britney Spears has lost weight and shows herself confidently in a white bikini on social media.

The 42-year-old pop icon has lost a few kilos in recent weeks and has now showcased her slimmed-down body in a new Instagram post.

In a video that Spears published on her official account, the singer can be seen in a skimpy swimming outfit. She wrote: "Okay, so I'm proud of my white shell bikini and the fact that I've lost five centimeters of belly!"

Meeting with ex-fiancé
Britney's diet post appeared just a few days after she hit the casino capital Las Vegas with her brother Bryan and her ex-boyfriend Jason Trawick.

The meeting between the "Toxic" performer and her former partner, with whom she was in a relationship until they broke off their engagement in 2011, was reportedly their first reunion since the break-up.

However, an insider told TMZ that the reunion was purely "friendly" in nature. Trawick also acted as Britney's co-guardian for a time during the relationship, before this position was completely taken over by her father Jamie Spears after the split.

After a protracted legal battle, the guardianship was finally lifted in 2021.
