“Astro Bot” hops into a new PlayStation adventure

Bigger, more spectacular and more entertaining: Sony's cuddly platforming hero "Astro Bot" is getting a big new adventure on the PlayStation 5, which will be much more extensive than the mini-game "Astro's Playroom" that comes with every PS5.

In the video above, the developers take a closer look at the new "Astro Bot" adventure, which will be released on September 6. Fans will be pleased to see that, unlike "Astro's Playroom", which was primarily used to showcase the PS5 controller functions, this is now a "full-blown" game.

80 levels in six regions
The developers have already revealed exactly how big "Astro Bot" will be in an interview with US magazine "Entertainment Weekly": "Astro Bot" will have to traverse a total of 80 levels spread across more than 50 different "planets" in six galaxies this time - no comparison to the mere 16 worlds he was allowed to experience in the PS5 mini-game.

In addition to new worlds, there are also dozens of new enemies and abilities - you can even use flying machines. Whether the mix is convincing in terms of gameplay will be revealed on September 6, when "Astro Bot" is released for the PS5.
