Biker (55) slid into minibus after a fall – dead

A terrible accident occurred on Sunday morning in Nauders (Landeck district). A 55-year-old motorcyclist crashed on a right-hand bend and slid into an oncoming minibus. All help came too late for the man.

The 55-year-old local was the penultimate rider in a group of six motorcyclists on the Reschenstraße in Nauders. For reasons as yet unexplained, the man crashed on a right-hand bend. He skidded across the road and collided with an oncoming minibus carrying five passengers.

Resuscitation was unsuccessful
A doctor and a nurse who happened to be at the scene of the accident immediately initiated resuscitation measures. However, the 55-year-old succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident. The occupants of the minibus were uninjured.
