Car and window vandalized: Vandal arrested

A vandal left a trail of destruction in Innsbruck on Saturday evening. After the Afghan suspect had broken open the coin box of a newspaper stand, he is also said to have damaged a car and a glass façade. The 25-year-old was arrested.

Shortly before 8pm, the suspected vandal was up to mischief in the Sillhöfe area of Innsbruck. First, the Afghan is said to have forcibly opened the coin box of a newspaper stand. 

Mirror and glass front damaged
The 25-year-old is also suspected of smashing the wing mirror of a parked car with his foot and throwing stones at the glass front of an accommodation facility, thereby damaging it, police reported on Sunday.

The total property damage amounted to around 15,000 to 20,000 euros.
