A10 affected again

Traffic chaos on the long weekend is inevitable

Thanks to Corpus Christi, a long weekend is just around the corner and many people want to head south. Long waiting times are to be expected, especially on the Tauernautobahn (A10), just like at Whitsun. Traffic chaos is inevitable. 

On tomorrow's public holiday in particular, there is likely to be a long traffic jam heading south. Once again, the roadworks between Golling and Werfen will be affected. All drivers traveling there can and must plan for a loss of time. The Puch-Urstein, Hallein, Kuchl and Golling exits are once again closed. 

But delays are also to be expected in the north. In Germany (Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and Rhineland-Palatinate), the two-week Whitsun vacations are coming to an end, so a wave of return travel is expected. The busiest travel day will probably be Saturday. There are also departure closures here (Eben and Pfarrwerfen).
