Liezen: Hundreds of beers ended up on the road

Tragic accident on Tuesday morning in Liezen: a truck fully loaded with Gösser beer lost its load on a traffic circle. 

At around 7.30 a.m., the Liezen fire department was called out to the traffic circle at the east entrance to the town. The crates of beer and countless beer bottles were scattered across the road. Two fire departments had to clear up the mess for several hours.

Some of the crates that were not damaged could be "rescued". They were stacked next to the road and then transported away from there. The operation caused traffic jams and delays, but traffic was able to flow again at 10 am.
