20-year-old crashed into a car in Leibnitz

On Friday evening, a 20-year-old e-scooter rider crashed into a car at a junction in Leibnitz. The 81-year-old driver pulled onto the cycle path with his stopped car. The young woman was injured to an indeterminate degree in the crash.

Once again, a ride on an e-scooter had dramatic consequences on Friday evening. A 20-year-old was riding in Leibnitz at around 8.30 p.m. when the accident occurred.

Car overturned onto the cycle path
An 81-year-old man from the Leibnitz district had driven his car along Kaspar-Harb-Gasse to the Wasserwerkstraße junction. He stopped there and his car protruded a little onto the cycle path and footpath.

20-year-old was injured
The e-scooter driver was unable to brake fast enough and crashed into the front end of the car. She was taken to Wagna Regional Hospital with indeterminate injuries.
