Illegal exit: teenagers (14, 15) injured

On Monday evening, there was a serious motorcycle accident in Enzelsdorf, district of Graz-Umgebung: a 14-year-old was driving together with a 15-year-old without a license when they crashed into a guardrail. Even the rescue helicopter had to be called out.

At half past eight on Monday evening, the two teenagers were riding a motorcycle together when the accident occurred. The 14-year-old was at the wheel, the 15-year-old was a passenger. Due to a driving error, the young driver drove onto the verge on Enzelsdorfer Straße and crashed into a crash barrier. The 14-year-old was thrown over the guardrail and remained seriously injured.

Driving without a license
Witnesses to the accident quickly rushed to the scene - they provided first aid and called the ambulance. The teenager had to be flown to Graz Regional Hospital with a suspected serious thigh injury. The 15-year-old was also taken to hospital with a minor leg injury. As it turned out, the 14-year-old did not have a driving license.
