Dog bites woman in the leg while walking in Tyrol

Shock for a 67-year-old woman on Saturday evening in Tarrenz, Tyrol (Imst district). A dog on a "long lead" bit the local woman on the left leg.

The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m.: "A 48-year-old Austrian man was walking a Slovakian wolfhound on a leash in Tarrenz", according to the police. The dog had around four to five meters of free space on the "long leash".

67-year-old had to go to hospital
However, the animal suddenly bit a passer-by on the left leg. The 67-year-old suffered serious injuries as a result of the bite and had to be treated in Zams hospital. "Once the investigation is complete, a report will be made to the relevant authorities," said the police.
