Drunk man went on the rampage and threatened to “kill” someone

Wild scenes unfolded in a physiotherapy practice in Kematen in Tyrol on Thursday evening. A drunk man (37) set off a fire alarm, harassed and threatened the people in the practice. The man was also unresponsive to the police.

The 37-year-old German showed up at the physiotherapy practice at around 7 p.m., "obviously heavily intoxicated" according to the police. The man tore a fire alarm off the wall in front of and inside the practice, which set off the fire alarm. He then harassed several people in the surgery and even threatened to kill a physiotherapist several times, according to the police. 

The man was extremely aggressive and unruly towards the police officers who intervened.

The alerted police wanted to intervene, but the drunk man is also said to have behaved extremely aggressively and unruly towards the officers. He was provisionally arrested and taken to the police detention center. Because he was so drunk, it has not yet been possible to question him.
