A month’s pension can be gone so quickly

Mario Waroschitz is retired, but the man from Absam still loves his job as a chef and continues to help out. A small mistake when switching between two jobs cost him a whole month's pension as a 64-year-old.

Last December, the "Krone" newspaper ran the following headline about the enterprising Tyrolean: "The country needs pensioners like him now." Because the kitchen, even if it is occasionally hectic, is the life of the now 65-year-old, who is in demand in the shortage occupation of chef.
