Road cyclist (25) seriously injured in a fall

A fatal recreational accident on Tuesday evening in Thaur in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land: a 25-year-old female racing cyclist crashed and sustained serious injuries. She had to be taken to hospital.

The serious accident occurred shortly after 8 pm. The young local was riding her racing bike on a local road when she suddenly lost control.

To hospital after first aid
The 25-year-old crashed and suffered serious injuries. After first aid at the scene of the accident, she was taken to Innsbruck University Hospital by ambulance.
