Viennese woman comes home and encounters burglars

When a Viennese woman opened the door to her apartment in Vienna-Wieden on Sunday night, she couldn't believe her eyes: two men were in her apartment. The strangers immediately fled and stole the woman's keys, tablet and ATM card. The police were able to catch the bandits. 

It was around 2.45 a.m. when the woman entered her apartment. She couldn't see so quickly, the two unknown guests fled. The tenant immediately called the police. 

Police were able to find the men quickly
Based on the exact description of the men, officers from the Vienna police were able to quickly arrest two suspects during the search. The two men are Austrians aged 35 and 41. The victim's ATM card was recovered from the suspects. 

Apartment keys stolen
The thieves had also stolen a house key and a tablet. "The 41-year-old confessed to the charges during questioning. Both suspects were taken to a prison after consultation with the Vienna public prosecutor's office," police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger announced on Monday.
