Tyrolean falls over wall and slope while urinating

Urinating outdoors was the undoing of a 69-year-old man in the Tyrolean Oberland on Monday night. The man fell over a wall on his property and then over a steep slope. He suffered serious injuries. Even the fire department had to be called out. 

The fatal incident occurred shortly before midnight in the municipality of Strengen (Landeck district). While relieving himself, as the police described it when asked by "Krone", the 69-year-old initially fell over a property wall at his house.

After falling over the embankment, the man lay injured.

But that was not all: the man then also fell around 20 meters over a steep embankment before lying injured on the ground.

Taken to hospital by ambulance
Rescue, police and even the Strengen and Landeck fire departments arrived to rescue the injured man. After first aid on site, he was taken to hospital in Zams.
