Atzgersdorf follows Hypo-NÖ into the WHA final

As in the previous year, WAT Atzgersdorf will challenge defending champions Hypo Niederösterreich in the final duel of the Austrian Handball League (WHA). After the Lower Austrians advanced against UHC Stockerau on Saturday with a total score of 69:47, Atzgersdorf followed suit with a 26:25 (13:13) win at Ferlach/Feldkirchen.

The Viennese side had won the first leg 28:19, which gave them a 54:44 victory overall. 

The "best of three" final duel begins on Whitsunday (8:20 p.m.) at BSFZ Südstadt, while Atzgersdorf has home court on May 24 (8:20 p.m.). A third match, if necessary, would take place on May 27 (18:00), again at Hypo NÖ's home arena.
