Drug deal degenerated into a brawl

Wild scenes recently took place in the parking lot of the Dornbirn trade fair park. Apparently an argument in the drug scene escalated. The two opponents have already been arrested by the police. 

On the afternoon of May 8, two people presumably met in front of Vorarlberg's largest shopping center for a drug deal. However, the deal does not appear to have gone as planned, as the clandestine transaction first developed into a loud argument and then into a violent brawl in the course of which both opponents sustained unspecified injuries. Shortly afterwards, the brawlers fled in their vehicles.

The incident was observed by several witnesses, who immediately informed the police. Although an immediate manhunt in the Dornbirn area was unsuccessful, a trail was at least laid. After further investigations, a 23-year-old man from Switzerland was identified as the perpetrator that same evening and arrested in Austria. The second perpetrator, a 44-year-old man residing in Vorarlberg, was finally arrested the following day at his home address.

Investigations into the exact course of events are still ongoing. Among other things, the question of whether other people were involved in the incident needs to be clarified.
