Eberl's collar is bursting:

“We can’t buy shit from this!”

Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl also had little sympathy for referee Szymon Marciniak's decision to blow the whistle on Munich's late chance to equalize in the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. After the final whistle, the 50-year-old vented his anger (see video above).

In the 103rd minute of the game, Bayern had had another chance to save themselves in extra time: Noussair Mazraoui had got to the ball in the opposition penalty area, which ended up with Mathijs de Ligt via a circuitous route, who was actually able to put it in the Madrilenian goal.

However, the goal did not count as referee Szymon Marciniak had already blown his whistle, claiming that Mazraoui was offside. Real Madrid thus progressed to the final of the premier class with a 2:1 (aggregate score 4:3).
