This is what Salzburg’s new airport will look like
The terminal landscape of Salzburg Airport, which dates back to 1966, is being completely renovated to meet modern standards. The design by ATP architekten ingenieure and ATP sustain focuses on regional elements and impresses with its characteristic roof construction.
Airport Managing Director Bettina Ganghofer emphasized the importance of an attractive planning concept and sees the selection of ATP as a promising starting point for the coming planning phases.

In addition to the terminal development, further structural adjustments are planned in order to make the airport energy-optimized by 2033. The overarching goal of the project remains seamless, safe and efficient operation.
The project is based on high ecological standards through efficient building technology and the use of regional and renewable materials. The focus is on conserving resources and the circular economy.
