Man hit victim with a stick

On Sunday evening, a 37-year-old Romanian man went to his car, which he had parked in Klagenfurt. Once there, a man, also of Romanian nationality, suddenly arrived and hit the right side of the vehicle with a stick.

The two men had already had several arguments about a traffic accident that had happened some time ago. After a verbal argument, the 39-year-old opened the vehicle door and hit the 37-year-old several times in the face with his fist.

Injured after being punched
He then tried to hit the man with a hard stick. The man suffered injuries to his hands as he defended himself. Immediately afterwards, the suspect left the scene. The injured man was taken to Klagenfurt Hospital by the ambulance after the report was made.

Perpetrator denies accusation
The suspect was subsequently found at his home address. He did not confess to hitting the 37-year-old man, but only to pushing him. He will be reported to the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt after the investigations have been completed.
