Unusual visit in the garden under a trampoline

A "Krone" reader reporter was amazed when he went into his garden in the Weinviertel (Lower Austria) on Thursday and found five sheep had made themselves comfortable under the children's trampoline. 

"It was kind of surreal for me," the reader reporter tells the "Krone". A call to the mayor of Maissau provided the decisive clue to the owner of the five sheep.

The animals had already been missing for two days when they discovered the shady spot under the trampoline. Apparently they had found a comfortable place to stay there while their owner desperately searched for them.

Appointment at the "hairdresser"
The reason for their adventure soon became clear: the sheep had an appointment at the "hairdresser" - they urgently needed to be shorn. But instead of waiting dutifully for their treatment, they had set off on their own and found emergency accommodation in the reader reporter's garden.

Fortunately, the animals' unusual activity ended unscathed. The relieved owner was finally able to pick up his runaways again - but had to lure them into the trailer with a bucket of treats as they "didn't really want to get in at first". He thanked them and then took the sheep to the "hairdresser".

An amusing adventure that the Lower Austrian woman and the owner of the sheep will certainly remember for a long time to come.
