Arsenal and Manchester City showed no weakness in the duel for the English soccer championship title on Saturday! The league leaders from London opened the scoring with a 3-0 win against Bournemouth. A few hours later, the Citizens were unimpressed and won 5:1 against Wolverhampton Wanderers thanks to a four-goal haul from Erling Haaland. 

Coach Pep Guardiola's team are still one point behind Arsenal, but still have a game in hand.

Haaland hat-trick with two penalties and a header
The match-winner for the defending champions was once again super goalscorer Haaland. The Norwegian scored a hat-trick in the first half with two penalties (12th, 45th +3) and a header (35th).

After the visitors scored through Hee-Chan Hwang (53'), Haaland immediately added another (54'). The former Salzburg striker scored four goals in one game for the first time in the Premier League and now leads the scoring charts with 25 goals. The final goal was scored by Julian Alvarez, who came on as a substitute for Haaland, in the 85th minute.

"Nine points and we're champions. Seven points, six points, three points and Arsenal win the Premier League," explained Guardiola. The Spaniard is aiming for a fourth league title in a row with City, something no team in England has ever achieved.
