Toddler fell from kitchen window into the depths
In an unobserved moment on Thursday, a two-year-old girl fell from the second floor of her parents' house in Lendorf (Carinthia). The toddler sustained several injuries and had to be airlifted to hospital.
The two-year-old girl was in the kitchen with her parents on Thursday when she climbed onto the dining table in an unobserved moment and then fell out of the open window. "The child fell about four to five meters into the depths", according to the Carinthia Provincial Police Directorate.
Injuries of indeterminate degree
The shocked parents immediately informed the emergency services. After receiving initial emergency medical treatment from the RK1 rescue helicopter team, the two-year-old was flown to the hospital in Villach with undetermined injuries, where she will receive further medical care.
