Crashed into a wall: motorcyclist dies

A fatal motorcycle accident occurred in Kumberg (Graz-Umgebung district) on Tuesday evening. The body of the deceased (35) was only found by walkers on Wednesday. The crisis intervention team is on duty.

The 35-year-old was driving a motorcycle that was not licensed for traffic late in the evening. He was riding from the center of Hermsdorf towards his home without a crash helmet. At around 10.30 p.m., the man left the local road for unknown reasons, drove across a meadow and crashed into a stone wall.

The local man died at the scene of the accident. Walkers found the body early on Wednesday afternoon. The family of the deceased is being looked after by a crisis intervention team.
