In the 76th minute, Real coach Carlo Ancelotti ordered the German midfield strategist to the bench with the score at 1:2 from Madrid's point of view and substituted Brahim Diaz instead. Kroos didn't like that at all and complained loudly about his substitution.

Ancelotti "had to change something"
The Italian coach went on to say that Kroos "played a very good game", that he "always finds solutions" and is "the one who distributes the ball best".
