Family threatened with murder while drunk via WhatsApp

A man from Salzburg threatened to kill his family members via several text messages. A short time later, the Salzburg man was arrested in a drunken state without resistance. He confessed to the crime. 

"I'll kill you", "I'll kill you" - a man from Salzburg wrote messages similar to these on WhatsApp on the evening of April 29, first to his brother and later to other family members. In the end, it was the niece (34) who alerted the police.

Report to the public prosecutor's office
The 48-year-old from Pongau in Salzburg, who was under the influence of alcohol, was arrested without resistance when the police arrived and confessed to the crime. He will be reported to the public prosecutor's office in Salzburg.
