Straka in 27th place with team partner Garnett

Austria's golf ace Sepp Straka and Brice Garnett dropped from 26th to 27th place on the third day of the 8.9 million dollar Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

The Austro-American duo managed their best round to date with a 65 in the fourballs match on Saturday. They had needed 66 strokes in the same discipline to open the tournament on Thursday and 69 in the Foursome on Friday, meaning the event will come to an end on Sunday.

US duo on course for victory
On course to win the two-man team PGA tournament at the TPC Louisiana are the Americans Zac Blair/Patrick Fishburn, who are on 23 under par before the final round. Straka and Garnett are 16 strokes under the course handicap on the par-72 course.
