Haliburton secures Pacers’ nail-biting win over Bucks

With a three-pointer 1.6 seconds before the end of overtime, Tyrese Haliburton has helped his Indiana Pacers to a 121:118 home win over the Milwaukee Bucks in the play-off of the North American Basketball League (NBA). Haliburton converted the shot despite being fouled and converted the bonus free throw to make the final score. The Pacers now lead the Eastern Conference duel 2:1 in the best-of-seven series.

The Bucks, who were once again without their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, were led by Khris Middleton. The 32-year-old scored 42 points and saved his team with a three-pointer in overtime.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are now just one win away from promotion in the Western Conference. With the 126:109 away win at the Phoenix Suns, the series is now 3:0 in favor of the Wolves. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 36 points. The team from Minneapolis is on the verge of its first victory in a play-off series since 2004.

Dallas defeats Clippers
In Texas, the Dallas Mavericks took a 2:1 lead against the Los Angeles Clippers. They won their first home game against the Californians 101:90 and want to go one better in front of their own fans on Sunday. Luka Doncic narrowly missed out on a triple-double with 22 points, ten rebounds and nine assists.
