The Diocese of Eisenstadt wants to strengthen and support young people in the intense time leading up to their written exams.

When around 1500 AHS and BHS students in Burgenland take their written Matura exams between 2 and 16 May, they will have the opportunity this year to get support for this very intensive time from "the highest level", so to speak. Under the motto "Encouraged & Accompanied", the young people can register on the homepage of the Diocese of Eisenstadt to receive a digital blessing from Bishop Ägidius Zifkovics.

First candle lit
In addition, Father Thomas Lackner and his team will light a candle in the basilica on the exam days in Frauenkirchen and personally say a prayer for each high school graduate. The first candle was already lit yesterday, Friday, during the mass of the cathedral chapter and Father Achim Bayer gave his blessing for this intensive time. Young people who would like to be encouraged by the digital blessing can do so at: www.martinus.at/maturasegen
