England's soccer champions Manchester City have underlined their Premier League title ambitions with a demonstration of power in an away game against Brighton & Hove Albion!

Coach Pep Guardiola's side ran out clear winners 4:0 (3:0) on Thursday in the 29th round catch-up game and climbed to second place in the table with their fourth league win in a row. With one game less to play, they are now one point behind leaders Arsenal.

Erling Haaland missing through injury
Kevin de Bruyne's header into the far corner (17'), his first in the Premier League, and Phil Foden's brace (26', 34') decided the game for the defending champions in the first half. After the break, Julian Alvarez (62) added another for the Citizens, who were without goalkeeper Erling Haaland through injury. Man City are aiming for their fourth championship title in a row and have everything in their own hands with five games to go.

Third-placed Liverpool, coached by Jürgen Klopp, have already lost ground after two defeats in their last three league games and are currently two points behind ManCity. Guardiola's side continue their campaign on Sunday away to relegation candidates Nottingham Forest, while Arsenal visit Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby shortly beforehand. Liverpool travel to West Ham United on Saturday.
