Head surgeon at Salzburg University Hospital likely to be replaced after criticism

Several surgeons who have left the Salzburg Trauma Hospital are making accusations against the head of trauma surgery. 

Among other things, there is talk of a military style of leadership and even preferring class patients to more urgent cases. According to ORF Salzburg, several former UKH surgeons are making accusations against their former boss. 

There were also problems in the organization of daily operations. In the opinion of the doctors, the hospital management and AUVA should have reacted much earlier, as the problems had been pointed out and a quarter of the trauma surgeons had left the hospital.

According to a statement from the AUVA, the head of trauma surgery should be replaced.
