Large rescue team
The Red Cross is also on site with five vehicles and at least 15 people have been rescued from the house. One tenant was so desperate that he even jumped from the second floor. He landed in a garden and is not expected to be seriously injured. It is still unclear whether and how seriously the other people are injured. The Red Cross Crisis Intervention Team (KIT) has also arrived to support the people.
According to initial findings, the fire is likely to have started on the second floor of the building, probably caused by a faulty e-scooter.
