What Perry makes Orlando Bloom freak out about
They are considered a dream couple, but Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry sometimes clash - as the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star revealed in a podcast.
In the podcast "What Now? with Trevor Noah", Orlando Bloom chatted openly about his relationship with Katy Perry - and revealed that they also have their fair share of spats.
"That occasionally leads to fireworks"
The reason: Perry "definitely demands that I evolve and I feel like I do that for her," Bloom explained - and laughed: "And that leads to fireworks occasionally, but also a lot of fun and growth." He wouldn't "trade it for anything", he assured.
However, the 47-year-old went on to say that growth has a high priority in their relationship. "We both meet with an understanding of where we've come from, what we've worked towards and what we've had to do to get to where we are now," said the Brit.
Perry and Bloom ground each other
The celebrity couple also ground each other, according to Bloom. It often feels like, "How are we going to do this," the actor said, explaining: "We have these two huge careers and lives, and theirs is even, you know, it's like a universe sometimes."
He added: "But I think I just keep coming back to her and trying to hold her hand and go back to the sandpit with her and say, 'We're just going to build a sandcastle: 'We're just going to build a sandcastle'."
The Pirates of the Caribbean star and the singer have been engaged since 2019, and their daughter Daisy Dove was born in 2020. In the new documentary series "Orlando Bloom: To the Edge", the actor gives an insight into his private life.
