De Rossi to remain Roma coach next season
Top Italian soccer club AS Roma will continue with Daniele de Rossi as coach next season. This was announced by owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin on Thursday.
The 40-year-old club legend took over as coach from Jose Mourinho in January and has since led the Romans from ninth place in the league to fifth.
On Thursday, the capital team will face AC Milan in the Europa League quarter-finals, winning the first leg 1:0.
De Rossi's contract originally only ran until the end of the season; the club did not disclose exact details of his new contract.
