Enjoy the summer at the Surf Opening

Every year, the Surf Opening on Lake Neusiedl heralds the start of summer. This year too, from May 1 to 5, numerous visitors will head for the otherwise tranquil town of Neusiedl to enjoy the first warm days. You can be there live with the "Krone". 

The Surf Opening 2024 offers many innovations this year. From a surf academy and exciting races to the premiere of a sailing regatta, one innovation follows another. Not forgetting the "Spray of the Day", where even absolute beginners can pull off cool turns in the lake with a surfer.

From May 1 at 10 a.m. up to and including May 5, Strandbad Neusiedl will once again be the place to be! "In recent years, we have attracted international surf stars to Lake Neusiedl. This year, we have decided that we want to focus our program more on the local audience, i.e. those who are always at the lake. However, I don't rule out the possibility of international stars becoming part of the Surf Opening again in the coming years," says organizer Georg Kloibhofer.

The "Krone" is once again giving away 60 tickets in 20 attractive packages for the Surf Opening from May 1 to 5 in Neusiedl. You can win 

• 10 action packages consisting of 10 x 2 admissions and catering on one day, 10 x 2 wing foil lessons with instructor of 15 minutes each.
• 10 family packages consisting of 10 x 4 admissions and catering (2 adults and 2 children) as well as free use of the Kids Area including a Ferris wheel ride.
