“Iran has fired on Israel for the first time”
Against the backdrop of the Iranian drone and missile attack on Israel, Krone foreign policy insider Kurt Seinitz analyzed the current situation: "This was an unprecedented attack, the likes of which have never been seen before in the Middle East. And there was also an unprecedented defense."
Seinitz: "A lot of the drones that Iran shot down still came down in Iran. Malfunctioned. Have fallen on villages, they are burning there. There are also videos of the people there that are being broadcast. In any case, Iran is celebrating a victory, because in the Orient the appearance that something has been done against Israel is much better than the reality." The Western view that nothing happened anyway because all the rockets were intercepted is always a question of point of view. Because if you lived in Israel, the view would be different: "It was a sleepless night for all Israelis. For the first time, the Iranian regime has fired at Israel. There must now also be a response from Israel. Leading Israeli politicians say Iran must pay a price."
Journalist Seinitz also explains the difficult situation of the Palestinians, who do not want to be accepted in any Arab country: "We are in the Orient. And some of them are very happy when Hamas gets hit on the head. And Iran too. But they don't come out of the closet." The Palestinians have measured themselves against Israel for decades. They are efficient. And that creates envy."
