Several fire departments, the water rescue service, the "Christophorus 4" emergency helicopter and the "Libelle" police helicopter caused a stir in the Tyrolean lowlands at the beginning of the week. "The initial situation was that there might be a person in the Großache," a police spokesperson explained in response to an inquiry from "Krone". The emergency services searched feverishly for the supposedly missing person.

Rescuers were called out in vain
As it turned out, however, the rescuers were called out in vain. "A lady threw her crutches into the river. We don't know the reason for this. The search was then called off. So in the end it was nothing dramatic," the spokesperson concluded.
